About the company

Neiglobe Networks, Inc. is a company founded in 2022 in Kyoto, Japan. The objective of the company is to promote our concept named LACS (Locally Accessible Cloud System) as a service, solution, and/or product.

Background

In 2019, a new concept called "Locally Accessible Cloud System," or LACS was proposed as a solution for disaster response by Dr. Toshikazu Sakano, a director of Advanced Telecommunications Research Institute International based in Kyoto, Japan. He developed a proto-type LACS system and conducted a series of feasibility studies using the system with the support of the Japanese Government's R&D fund. Based on the positive feedback from the participants of the feasibility studies, the team decided to launch a business to deliver LACS-based products, services, and solutions.
